Fire Detection
- Utilizes a network of devices such as smoke detectors (ionization, optical, aspirating/very early smoke detection apparatus – VESDA), heat detectors, flame detectors, and gas sensors.
- Interfaces with a fire alarm control panel (FACP), which processes input signals and initiates programmed responses (alarms, shutdowns, suppression release).
- Provides early warning capability, often at pre-alarm stages, to allow intervention prior to full suppression activation.
Fire Suppression
